just got back from a run and feeling all melancholy.
Been spending way too much, well at least the partying has ground to a halt. I'll write that off as post exam blowing off steam. But the new computer was definitely a whim rather than a need. Its mindblowingly fast but way too high end. I guess it will be worth it once Diablo 3 comes around the corner.
Reminds me of that day i decided to buy a car. wasn't planned or anything, was just sick of driving the damn van. Also didn't want to be labeled like those rich kids that get dad to sign a fat cheque to get them a car. Was actually planning to get something pretty banged up and cheap. But the moment i saw the damn bimmer. I swear the the salesman just already cashed the cheque in his head. Didn't even test drive the damn thing. Been a year now and its taught me tons. It's still got till March 2012 to keep running around before it goes to the scrap yard and i already miss it.
come on, everyone misses their first car. and this i got with my hard earned cash. Should have seen dads face when i drove it up to see him the day i collected it. lol.
I realised i've gone through one of those friend refreshes. You know when you wake up and you realise that you have a completely new set of friends? Your quickdials all changed etc. Its not a bad thing and you always have that bunch of evergreen friends who you keep in touch with once in awhile, but i mean the everyday friends. You know the kind you text at least once a day? over something completely random. I wonder if it will happen again once i start work....
Talking about work. Bumming around doing nothing is annoying as hell. For real. I hope something crops up soon enough before dad simply conscripts me into the business. Everyone doesn't understand why i don't simply work for dad, collect a fat paycheque and live life happily ever after. Its like signing your soul to the devil. everything you own and ever will own will indirectly be because of him and when you fuck up, he will definitely remind you of that fact. Anyway, lucky for me my 2 brothers did use daddys cash for an expensive overseas education, so i'll let them pay their dues and i can skip town with no guilt.
Everyone is on tumblr nowadays. I still don't quite get it, you know with the followers and all that. I'll just stick to this, knowing that since its been complete ages since i did any updating here it it highly likely this post will go unseen for sometime. So what the hell.
I'm trying to run at least 3 times a week. So i'll try and blog each time after i run. That way i kill 2 birds with one stone and do somethings regular for a change.
